Kaia Portal Mission Rewards and v1.4 Update Notice

Epoch #1 is about to conclude — here’s a quick overview of some new features we’ll be releasing with v1.4, along with information about the Epoch #1 rewards distribution.

New Features in v1.4

There will be 2 main features introduced in v1.4, effective from December 20, 2024, 6:30 PM KST.

• Dapps Menu Added: Users can now submit a request to add new Dapps and explore existing ones in the Kaia ecosystem.
• Bridge Feature Improved: The Bridge page will display the commonly used networks, assets, and wallets for a smoother experience. Users can also directly access the Bridge page pre-selected with KAIA.

The addition of the Dapps menu is the highlight of v1.4, allowing easy discovery of all the Dapps living in the vibrant Kaia ecosystem. Users can also submit new Dapps, opening opportunities for developers and project teams with greater visibility in the ecosystem. We encourage everyone to actively contribute and use this new feature!

Epoch #1 Rewards

Epoch #1 will conclude on December 25, 2024 at 3:00 PM (UTC+9). A two-week review will follow to ensure points earned align with the intended service purpose. Points earned through inappropriate methods will be revoked, so the final reward amount may differ slightly from your displayed estimate.

Reward Distribution

Now comes the most exciting part! Rewards will be distributed over six installments from January 7 to June 7, with payments made on the 7th of each month. The distribution breakdown is as follows:

• Installments 1–4: 15% each
• Installments 5–6: 20% each

Participants can claim their rewards anytime, with the final claim period ending on June 30, 2025. For those who find monthly claims inconvenient, feel free to claim all your rewards in one go after the sixth installments have been distributed.

For existing FNSA long-term stakers, the 10 million KAIA allocated under the “KAIA On-chain Contributor Rewards Guidelines” will be combined with the point rewards for distribution.

As we close this chapter of Epoch #1, we’re looking forward to an exciting new Epoch with more opportunities to build and grow. In the mean time, the Missions page with be replaced with an Epoch #2 teaser page. Stay tuned and look forward to more exciting pools and missions to be introduced!
