The Kaia Foundation and LINE NEXT attracted over 35 million cumulative users in this period.
The Kaia-based Mini Dapp service on LINE Messenger has completed its first month since launch. The Kaia Foundation and LINE NEXT attracted over 35 million cumulative users in this period. The service has achieved impressive results across major Asian markets — Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand — with total in-app purchases reaching 2.9 billion won ($2 million), an Average Revenue Per Paying User (ARPPU) of 55,000 won ($39), and a Paying User Ratio (PUR) of 13%.
The Mini Dapp service launched on January 22 with 32 Dapps and continues to grow within LINE Messenger’s Dapp Portal, offering Web3 services that users can access seamlessly through the LINE mobile messenger app and Dapp Portal web.

Kaia Chain Expansion Based on Active Users and In-app Purchase Growth
The Kaia blockchain has shown strong growth. The Dapp Portal in LINE Messenger generated 3 million new digital wallets, contributing to a total of 7.37 million new wallets in the Kaia ecosystem — a growth rate of 1,168%. This widespread wallet adoption within LINE Messenger has energized the Kaia ecosystem. According to global Web3 data science firm Flipside, Kaia now ranks as the world’s third-largest Ethereum (EVM) blockchain by Active Wallet Addresses. Monthly on-chain transactions have risen 124% to 27.38 million, while active users have grown 252% to 8.1 million.
As a result, the Kaia Foundation and LINE NEXT’s strategy to provide convenient Web3 services to Asian consumers through LINE Messenger has led to the successful growth of Mini Dapp service and Kaia. According to research by global market research firms Appsflyer and IMARC Group, Asian consumers lead the global In-app Purchase (IAP) market, making 40% more purchases compared to other regions.

Towards a More Seamless Web3 Financial Experience
The partnership between Kaia and LINE NEXT is bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 technologies. The Dapp Portal integrates both Kaia-based cryptocurrency and fiat currency payments, creating a hybrid model that merges Web2’s Free-to-Play (F2P) and in-app payment benefits with digital asset liquidity. This approach enables Web3 projects to build sustainable revenue streams while reducing reliance on token generation events (TGE), transaction fees, and token prices.
The Foundation also plans to strengthen this hybrid payment infrastructure by introducing a dollar-based stablecoin on the Kaia blockchain. This will simplify the builder settlement process for Web3 platforms and deliver an efficient blockchain-based payment solution on LINE Messenger, Asia’s leading mobile app.
Successful First Step in Targeting the Asian Web3 Market
Mini Dapp’s strong performance in LINE Messenger’s core markets signals the beginning of widespread Web3 adoption. Building on one month of data demonstrating enhanced scalability and profitable ecosystem growth, the Foundation will maintain its partnerships with leading developers worldwide to deliver premium Web3 services to Asian users.
